Children

Haringey Council is seeking into improving Priory Park playground, with a significant investment to enhance the overall experience. As part of the initial Consultation, we are seeking your feedback to help us understand your thoughts on the current playground.

The overall aim of the project is to develop the playground experience, maintaining existing equipment, which is popular with users, whilst adding new equipment to enhance the experience.

The survey will be live from Monday 21st August to Friday 6th October, and there will be regular updates as the project progresses. Your involvement will help us co-create a space which represents the views of the local community, for local people to enjoy.

Priory Park has always been a park where children love to come, and they are well catered for!

Children will find a playground including swings, slides, sand pit and a zip-line ride.

There is a café, where various events are held for pre-school children, a mostly dog-free philosophers' garden favoured by carers and toddlers, and a large asphalt area for netball practice, and the riding of junior cycles and scooters.

There is a paddling pool, which is normally filled from the last May Bank Holiday until the end of August.

This was not open in 2020, due to the pandemic.

Also, several areas of open grass for picnics and ball games.
