Children
FOPP have been working with Haringey Council to improve Priory Park playground, with a significant investment to enhance the overall experience.
The overall aim of the project is to develop the playground experience, maintaining existing equipment, which is popular with users, whilst adding new equipment to enhance the experience. Discussions are continuing but hope to have improvements made this year.

Playground Volunteer
We are always looking for volunteers to help in the park in any capacity. The children’s playground is often in need of maintenance and upkeep of the equipment. We need a volunteer ideally someone who uses the playground with their children to be a point of contact with the council, to raise issues of maintenance and repairs when needed. This role would not take up too much time but would be very helpful. If you think this is something you can help with then please contact FOPP for more information. Alice on foppn8.alice@gmail.com
Priory Park has always been a park where children love to come, and they are well catered for!

Children will find a playground including swings, slides, sand pit and a zip-line ride.

There is free tennis (for children and adults), as well as two table-tennis tables and two basket-ball practice hoops.

There is a café, where various events are held for pre-school children, a mostly dog-free philosophers' garden favoured by carers and toddlers, and a large asphalt area for netball practice, and the riding of junior cycles and scooters.
There is a paddling pool, which is normally filled from the last May Bank Holiday until the end of August.
This was not open in 2020, due to the pandemic.
Also, several areas of open grass for picnics and ball games.
